1. Nature lover: welcome to Jurassic Park IRL

If you want peace and get lost in the wild, the #Azores definitely have what you need. These are volcanic islands, which means a very fertile soil. São Miguel, the biggest island is called the Green island, and for a good reason! Trees, plants and flowers are everywhere! Even where you don't expect them to be.

The Azores are composed by nine different islands, all very different from one another! Now it's up to you to pack your backpack and come explore our Jurassic park IRL!

2. Can't be more relaxed than in a gigantic spa

Indeed, the Azores are a natural #spa! Just that instead of being closed in a massage room, you're in the #Nature! Come experiment our natural hot springs, to the sound of a hung drum and birds twitting around (not the digital ones...). How about a hot bath of sea water? Anyone?

3. For the foodies: you will have to buy new pants

It's impossible to make a list of all local #delicacies... it would simply never end! One thing is for sure: Azorian people love to spend time around the table and definitely know how to cook! Everywhere you go, your nose will be tickled by delicious smells of meat, #seafood or even vegetarian dishes. AND we cook inside the #volcano, like, in the ground! Crazy!

That's without counting with the amazing #goodies (pastries, teas, ice creams, breads... )

One advice: eat local, we have a lot for you to taste!

Ok... we'll give you a hint... you will have to find and try: Bolo Lêvedo, Fofa, and... Morcela!

4. The culture is all about authenticity

Here in the Azores, we try to keep and encourage everything that is #craft, local and authentic. From #food to #festivals, #agriculture to #art, you will feel the boiling culture (sometimes literally). There is a lot to discover, and the best part of it is that the Azorian people is eager to share what they know with people from all around the world. Do not worry, the language will not be a barrier. Most people here speak English, and if they don't, they'll conquer you with their smile and find a way to communicate with you.
